Permaculture

Permaculture was created in the 1970s by two Australian ecologists, Bill Mollison and David Holmgren.
They developed an ever-changing and expanding system of agriculture that has evolved over the years. It is a philosophy of ethics, personal responsibility and balanced ecology working with, rather than against, the natural world to create sustainable human habitats.
Permaculture farming is now done all over the world, on both large and small-scale sites. Permaculture has evolved into far more than just gardening or farming, but those aspects of it are a good place to start.
